Mini Mimosa – Kids Running for Kids

A Truly Special Day

The 2026 edition of Mini Mimosa was a truly special day filled with energy, generosity and community spirit. On Sunday 3 May, more than 350 children and their families filled the Stade des Bouillides in Valbonne for a morning of fun, sport, music and togetherness, all united for one important cause: helping children bravely battling cancer across the Alpes-Maritimes.

Thanks to the incredible generosity of our sponsors, volunteers, schools, partners and local community, Mini Mimosa 2026 has so far raised over €11,464. Every euro raised will stay local and will be shared between La Ligue contre le cancer 06 and Dessine-moi la High-Tech to support children with cancer and their families through vital emotional, practical and technological support programmes.

From the children running proudly in their Mini Mimosa T-shirts, to the volunteers serving treats from dawn, the choir performances, warm-up sessions, free activities and countless smiling faces, the day was a true reflection of what community can achieve when people come together with kindness and purpose.

A huge thank you to everyone who sponsored a child, bought raffle tickets, donated prizes, gave up their time or simply showed up to support. Together, we continue to prove that little steps really can make a big impact.

Where Will Your Donations Go

Funds raised will support Dessine-moi la High-Tech, which uses technology to bring joy and comfort to children with cancer through hospital visits with virtual reality, robotics workshops, while also advancing paediatric cancer research using Big Data and AI and developing VR tools to help medical teams improve patient care.

Donations will also support La Ligue contre le cancer 06, a long-standing partner of Mimosa, which provides vital support to cancer patients and their families across the Alpes-Maritimes and works closely with frontline paediatric cancer hospitals in the region.
