Kids helping Kids! Inspired by the many children who asked us how they could help and if they could run in the Nice-Cannes Marathon to raise money, Mimosa organised a fun-run just for them. Not only a sporting event, this event, as with the Marathon, also upholds a key aim of ours – to EDUCATE – to show children that a healthy lifestyle is key in the fight against this illness. All money raised from this event goes specifically to helping children with Cancer in the region and has been donated to the Paediatric Oncology Unit in L’Archet Hospital, Nice.
There have been two Mini-Mimosa Runs – 2018 and 2019 – and each has not only been a huge success but one of the most heart-warming events that we organise. We could not be more proud of the children taking part from 5-15years and their sporting achievements and their fundraising which continues to astound us; some even giving us their pocket-money. EBICA School – The Art of Learning has sponsored the event on both occasions and it promises to get bigger and better each year. Watch this space for details for the run in 2020.
