Although a little late for Mimosa to be in bloom, the Golf course at Royal Mougins was full of cheery Mimosa spirit on 9th of May 2016. The Irish Golf Day competition, organised by Judith Hayes and other members of Royal Mougins, gathered over 40 players to take part in a round of golf, and all the proceeds from this event with generously given to Mimosa and their quest to fight Cancer in the South of France. It was a wonderful day of Golf, which included fun competitions of longest drive and nearest to the pin as well as some “mighty craic” in the Club House afterwards. A big thank you to all who participated, and to all the wonderful organisers and contributors to the day.
On Saturday 6th May, The Irish Golf Day competition took place for the second year in a row at Royal Mougins Golf Resort. Although the weather was not playing ball there was an amazing turnout and spirits were high. The players commenced with a shotgun round of golf, there was a nearest to the pin competition, followed by a wonderful lunch and prize giving afterwards. Guests were incredibly generous with a record amount being raised. Our enormous thanks once again to Judith Hayes and her amazing team of organisers for putting on this fantastic event and for wishing to raise funds for Mimosa.
